Halloween and fall festivities

I am so far behind in posting that I can barely remember what we did for Halloween (or maybe that is just my pregnancy brain).  A few weeks before Halloween, we Austin and I met cousin Annabelle and mommy Allison at the plant store (nursery) for their fall kids day.  It was far from "fall" weather as we were all sweating from the heat and humidity.  Annabelle and Austin decorated a pumpkin and we walked around and looked at the scarecrows and also Santas and Christmas trees.  I took a series of cute pictures.
Gotta love Elmer's glue

Hi Mom!  Annabelle isn't quite sure of Austin

I am going to squirt you with this glue

Don't even think about taking my glue

Austin was obsessed with the few giant blow-up pumpkins and kitty cats in our neighborhood.  Every time we drove home from school we HAD to make a special trip down a certain street to see the pumpkin and kitty cat.  This one house hat 4 giant pumpkins and one pumpkin that had a kitty cat popping in and out of the top.  The pumpkin was "hiding".  So as a special surprise, Mimi bought Austin his very own pumpkin and kitty cat for our yard.

Our neighborhood had their Halloween party on October 19th.  Austin mainly enjoyed the playground and eating pizza.  He didn't care much or even notice the Halloween games.  It was still fun and he was a mighty cute Superman!

Playing in uncle Stephen's truck is tons of fun
Once we finally had some fall-like weather (70's and not humid), we headed to the pumpkin patch at MDUMC for some photos.  It was very difficult to get Austin to sit still so these were the best we could do.  He mainly just wanted to stand on every pumpkin and jump off of it.  More to come on our trip to Dallas in the next post....
