Something I have been wanting to document for a while now is Campbell's dedication at our church, Bayou City Fellowship, which was on December 14, 2014. It was a very special day as we stood in front of our church family and dedicated him publicly to Jesus. Everyone prayed for him and for us. Since our church does not do infant baptism, they allow families to commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home, striving to teach them to know and love Jesus. So special! We invited our immediate family to attend the service and come over for brunch afterwards at our house. We are thankful!
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heartsthrough faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
